Bali Madu Sari – Trunyan Tour
The Trunyan village is locates on the bank of Lake Batur at the bottom of Abang hill. The village is habited by the people of Bali Aga and their unique cultural aspects. Their ways has withstood the sands of time and still to this day, they practice very ancient ceremonies. The name Trunyan is derived from the word “Taru and Menyan” which represents the smell of the fragrant tree of incense which grows in the village. The villagers consider this tree to be very important because of the special burial power it has over their dead. This practice is called Mepasah.
Trunyan Tour with Itinerary as below :
07.00 – 08.00 : depart from the hotel
02.00 : Arrive at Madu Sari restaurant for Lunch ( Buffet )
13.15 : Depart from Madu sari to the starting area at Kedisan Village
13.30 : Across to the Trunyan Village by traditional Boat
14.15 : Arrive at the trunyan Village to visit the traditional Temple
14.30 : Across to the cemetery to visit the banyan tree
14.45 : Arrive at the cemetery
15.00 : Across back to the Kedisan Village
15.30 : Arrive back at the Kedisan Village (finish point)
15.45 : Drive back to the Madu Sari restaurant
16.00 : Arrive back at Madu Sari Restaurant for Lunch ( Buffet)
