Equipment: Masks and flashlights are provided. However, you’ll need to return them after the climb to avoid a fine.

Itinerary
Ijen Volcano: A Nighttime Adventure
Duration: Approximately 8-10 hours

Tour Schedule:
11:00 PM: Pick-up from your hotel in Banyuwangi and transfer to the Ijen base camp.
12:00 AM: Arrive at the base camp. Meet your guide, receive a safety briefing, and prepare for the trek with gas masks and headlamps provided.
12:30 AM: Begin the 1.5-2 hour hike to the crater rim, walking under the starry sky through a challenging but rewarding trail.
2:30 AM: Reach the crater rim. If conditions allow, descend into the crater to witness the rare and mesmerizing blue flames created by ignited sulfuric gases.
4:00 AM: Return to the rim to witness the sunrise over the magnificent acidic crater lake, glowing turquoise as the first light of day illuminates the landscape.

7:00 AM: Arrive at the base camp and enjoy a short rest.
