Conquer Mount Agung: A Challenging Trek for Breathtaking Sunrise Views

Here’s what to expect:
Pickup:
A shared van will pick you up from your hotel or villa.
Meet your fellow climbers and guide at the volcano base.
You’ll receive headlamps for the nighttime trek.
The Climb (Starts at 11:00 PM):
Be prepared for a steep and challenging climb, lasting 6.5 to 7.5 hours.
You’ll ascend 3,142 meters (10,308 feet) through challenging terrain, including a steep and slippery incline.
Sunrise at the Summit:
Witness a breathtaking sunrise from the top of Mount Agung – an unforgettable experience.
Enjoy light snacks like Beng Beng bars, cookies, banana, and hot drinks.
Take stunning photos and soak in the panoramic views for 1 hour.
Descent:
The descent is just as challenging, taking another 6.5 to 7.5 hours.
A driver will be waiting at the parking area to transfer you back to your hotel.
Important Notes:
Physical Fitness: This climb is demanding and requires excellent physical condition. People with heart or joint problems should not attempt it.
Language: Guides may not speak English fluently.
Weather: Be prepared for unpredictable weather conditions.
Preparation: Bring your own water and snacks for the climb. Dress in layers for varying temperatures and wear sturdy hiking shoes.
